London-based brand strategy and design studio Studio Blackburn teamed up with rSIM to support their mission while crafting a brand concept centred around the concept of "Always On," an expressive and distinctive brand identity that stands out in the otherwise sterile B2B market.

Typefaces in Use
Technology can sometimes be perceived as devoid of character or personality, so Studio Blackburn aimed to infuse the rSIM product with real character and personality. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Frankenstein's monster, they ran with the concept of “It’s Alive” for the brand identity.

The green hues employed in the branding are a direct homage to the ‘on’ buttons, lights, and switches found across a wide array of technological devices. Studio Blackburn's approach further involved expressive animations and bold typography, breathing life into the SIM card's identity and ensuring its distinct presence amidst the sterile backdrop of the B2B market.
