ZERODOIS™ is a Portuguese brand manufacturing modular sofas with a timeless and functional design aesthetic. Each piece is built with high-quality European woods, foams, textiles, and leathers, combined with the expertise of Portuguese craftspeople.
New York-based Portuguese designer Sam George worked with the brand’s founder and creative director, Miguel Coimbra, to craft the next chapter of the ZERODOIS™ brand. Commemorating two decades in operation, the redesign celebrates the brand’s legacy while positioning it for a global audience.

Rooted in the brand’s DNA, the redesign is strategically approached as an evolution rather than revolution. Portuguese craftsmanship remains a core tenet, with the tagline Heartcrafted in Portugal™ serving as a cornerstone of its identity. The fully spelled-out logo, ZERODOIS™, reinforces its Portuguese origin and proud heritage.
“Being able to contribute to the next chapter of ZERODOIS™ was nothing short of a privilege. This project was a chance to distil what makes ZERODOIS™ unique—its authenticity, attention to detail, and deep connection to Portuguese craftsmanship. The result is a visual identity that feels confident, timeless, and true to its origins.”
A clean and minimal visual language keeps the product at the forefront. The colour palette draws inspiration from the upholsteries in the pieces, ranging from muted and soft to bold and rich tones. Generous white space and the consistent use of Weltkern’s Lausanne typeface create a balance between understated elegance and functionality, embodying the ethos of ZERODOIS™.
Beyond aesthetics, the redesign streamlines the digital experience, with a new website and social media presence showcasing the brand’s refined visual language. From exploring modular configurations to understanding the story behind the brand, every touchpoint aligns seamlessly with the brand's ethos.
